The bank has introduced its missed call banking service to access different services like enquiry about account balance, mini statement, home loan related details, and more. 

To check the Canara Bank account balance in English, customers can give a missed call on-

Also, to check the last 5 transactions in Canara Bank, customers can give a missed call on-

Steps to do balance enquiry through missed call

The customer needs to give a missed call regarding any of the above-mentioned services using the mobile number which is registered with the bank. 

In case the customer does not use the same mobile number for balance enquiry using the missed call, he/she will receive an SMS stating that the number is not registered for Canara Bank Mobile Banking services.

  1. Dial 0-9015-483-483 (for English) or 0-9015-613-613 (for Hindi)

  2. The call will be disconnected automatically

  3. You will receive an SMS with your current account balance

Apart from missed call service, here are some ways through which you can check your Account Balance:

1. Canara Bank Internet Banking

Canara Bank enables the customers to access their bank accounts online via Internet Banking. For that, the customer has to get himself registered for net banking services.

  • First of all, the customer needs to log in to Canara Bank Net Banking portal using his/her Customer ID and Password
  • After login, the customer’s bank account will be displayed on the screen. Click on ‘Bank Details’
  • On the next screen, the bank balance and statement option will be displayed
  • Account-holders can also check the bank statement, access mini-statement, open a savings account, start FD/RD or do fund transfers using Canara Bank Net Banking

Self-registration to Canara Bank Net Banking

  • Individual customers having active debit/credit cards or Joint account 1st holder with either or survivor operating Condition can self-register for net banking
  • For self-registration, the customer needs-
    1. Active Debit/Credit Card
    2. Valid email-id must be registered with the bank account
    3. Valid mobile number must be registered with the bank account
    4. Customer ID
    5. 13-digit Account number

2. Canara Bank Mobile Banking

Canara Mobile Banking application is available on both Google Playstore and Apple App Store. Using this mobile app, users can access their bank account and check their account balance anytime, anywhere. 

Account-holders can download and install Canara Bank Mobile Banking app to avail services and facilities like Canara Bank balance enquiry, mini statement, fund transfer, cheque book request and much more. Following are all the Canara Bank mobile applications with which account holders can check their account balance using mobile banking:

  • CANDI- Mobile Banking: Canara Bank Digital app for all banking solutions and fund transfer using IMPS, RTGS and NEFT
  • Canara eInfobook: To check account balance and view bank account statements
  • Canara DiYa: App to open a savings account online and get monthly e-statements

Pre-requisites of having a Canara Bank mobile application:

  • Smartphone
  • Internet Connection
  • Sufficient Balance to send SMS (Carrier charges by Network Operator)
  • Sufficient storage to download application (Approx. 10 MB)
  • Active Debit Card for activation

3. Canara Bank Toll-free Number

Account-holders can also call the toll-free number given below for Canara Bank Balance Enquiry:

4. Canara Bank Passbook

Canara Bank also provides a passbook to all the account-holders at the time of opening of the account. Users can visit the branch and get their passbooks updated to have a proper record of account balance and transactions. This passbook contains all the debit and credit transactions of the respective account. 

5. Canara Bank ATM

Yet another way of checking the bank account balance is via bank ATM (either Canara Bank ATM or any other bank’s ATM). customers can visit an ATM and follow these steps to check their Canara Bank account balance:

  • Insert Canara Bank Debit card

  • Enter the 4-digit Canara Bank ATM PIN

  • Select “Balance Enquiry / Check Account Balance” option

  • Account Balance will be displayed on the ATM screen. The account holder can also take a receipt of the account balance

One can also select the ‘mini statement’ option on the ATM dashboard and view the last 3 to 5 debit and credit transaction
